Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgeons provide treatment for patients with disorders of the vascular system (the arteries and veins outside of the heart). These disorders include abdominal aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), renal artery disease, carotid artery disease, varicose veins and dialysis access procedures.
Treatment techniques include medical therapy, minimally-invasive procedures and surgical reconstruction:
- Noninvasive vascular diagnostic testing (ultrasound and doppler)
- Endovascular therapy (minimally invasive)
- balloon angioplasty
- stents
- aneurysm repairs
- atherectomy procedures
- Open vascular surgery
- bypass
- endarterectomy
Our Vascular Laboratory is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
