Dr. Vertente earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Wheaton College and a Master of Business Administration/Healthcare degree from Urbana University in Ohio. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts. She then completed a Family Medicine residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Vertente has special interest in care for women and children.
