Javelle Wynter, MD
Gastroenterology/Endoscopy
Dr. Wynter earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She then completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. To pursue her interest in advanced endoscopic procedures, she subsequently completed a Therapeutic and Interventional Endoscopy Fellowship at Columbia University in New York City. She briefly practiced in Virginia following completion of fellowship, and has returned to Dartmouth to join the Gastroenterology team at Hawthorn.
She is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Association of Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists, and Women in Endoscopy. Her clinical interests include pancreatobiliary disease management and endobariatrics.
